I truly miss him and visiting him, not even for a week would mean the world to me but all they worry about is the reputation and how bad it would make them look for letting me go.

They are positive that the boy must always be doing the first move and what not and that if i go visit then it will seem like i am just running after guys and that i am desperate.

There is no problem but their argument is that 'he is the boy and should be making the first steps' (aka. he should be the one visiting me, not i him). He cannot visit at this current time, maybe next year but right now only i can do it.
